The ‘Garbage’ film screenings are co-presented with Planet in Focus International Environmental Film & Video Festival.
The entertaining feature length documentary by film maker Andrew Nisker candidly portrays the threat to our environment as the Mcdonald family of Toronto tracks their waste output for three months. “I am really pleased that my film will been screened at Hot Docs amongst these other commendable films, in addition to more film enthusiasts and film reviewers will be exposed to the message and valuable information in the film, by actually showing them where our household waste goes; and the toll it takes on our environment and natural resources just to dispose of it,” explains Nisker.
The film has also been picked up by Canada’s Super Channel and is set to air this Spring 2008.
