Newest Starbucks Location Celebrates Grand Opening By Helping Children With Autism

WHAT:
Vaughan’s newest Starbucks location is hosting a Friends & Family Event for the community to celebrate its Grand Opening. During the event, voluntary donations will be given to the Shining Through Centre – Educating Children with Autism. Monies raised will go towards year round programming.

About Shining Through Centre:
The Shining Through Centre was founded in 2001 to provide an intensive and comprehensive educational program for children with Autism. Located in an historic home in Woodbridge, Shining Through Centre is regarded as one of the premier sites in Ontario for support for children with Autism. The program is based on scientifically validated procedures of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA), offered through one-on-one instruction for each child.
